Privacy Policy

Baseline ("the app") stores supported health and activity data from your wearables and, with your permission, Apple Health in protected storage on your iPhone. Core collection and local views work without an account or connection. If you separately enable Baseline Cloud, the app sends data to your authenticated private cloud account for the cloud features you choose.

Data the app processes

• Metrics from your band: heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), sleep, recovery, steps, activity, and skin temperature.
• Metrics you permit Baseline to read from Apple Health, such as heart rate, HRV, sleep, activity summaries, and workouts.
• Your Baseline account identifiers when you use cloud features, including an opaque user ID and, if you choose Sign in with Apple, the email address Apple provides.
• Basic sync and diagnostic metadata used to keep the service working, such as timestamps, battery level, sync outcomes, and error messages.

The app does not collect your name, contacts, advertising identifiers, browsing activity, or data for advertising tracking.

Where your data goes

• Supported health and activity history is stored on your iPhone first.
• If you explicitly enable Baseline Cloud, a copy is stored in your private cloud account, reachable through your authenticated account.
• If you grant permission, Baseline may read supported data from and write supported data to Apple Health to provide the features you enable.

HealthKit

Health data handled through HealthKit is used solely to provide Baseline's health, recovery, and training features, including cloud computation and sync when enabled. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing, we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers, and it is never sold.

Sharing

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or provide it to data brokers. We use Cloudflare to host the optional private cloud service and to process the compact, locally calculated evidence for Cloud AI questions you explicitly enable. Cloud AI is not sent to Anthropic. Cloudflare processes data on our behalf under its service terms; Baseline contains no third-party advertising or behavioural tracking.

Cloud AI is separate from cloud copy. Enabling backup does not enable AI processing. Baseline stores AI usage counters for cost control, but does not store Cloud AI questions, answers, or the health facts supplied to the model.

Your control

You can permanently delete your Baseline account and its cloud data from the app's Settings. Uninstalling the app or revoking Apple Health permissions stops local access but does not by itself delete data already stored in your Baseline cloud account.

Children

Baseline is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date.
